Bad Luck hopefully already depleted - Das Pech hoffentlich schon aufgebraucht
Heute war einer dieser Tage, an denen einfach alles schiefgeht. Und dabei hatte der Radweg an der Fulda und das angenehme Wetter doch eigentlich eine tolle Fahrt verprochen. Bis nach 50km die Begrenzung eines Radweges (im Foto zu sehen) die Euphorie jäh gen Erdboden sinken ließ. Ich selbst konnte noch eben ausweichen, der schon Anhänger allerdings nicht mehr. Und so kam es, dass ich zuerst mich und dann auch das Gefährt hinter mir nach einem Überschlag auf dem Boden vorgefunden habe. Soviel vorab: mir gehts den Umständen entsprechend gut, ich fühle jeden Knochen meines Körpers und freue mich, dass wir die Fahrt überhaupt forsetzen können.
Dies verdanken wir vor allem dem Glück und Thomas' Anstrengung, der jeden Weg in Kauf nahm, um doch noch einen kleinen Fahradladen in Bad Soden aufzutreiben, der uns eine neue Felge bereitstellen konnte. Viele Dank nochmal dafür! Die Fahrt konnte dann nach 3 stündiger Unterbrechung fortgesetzt werden, wobei wir uns dann promt verloren haben und ich festellen musste, dass ich sowohl mein Handy, als auch das von Thomas bei mir hatte. Bis wir dann letztendlich loskonnten war es reichlich spät, aber völlig entkräftet kamen wir bei Nacht in Frankfurt an, wo wir bereits mit einem Essen bei Isabel und Martina empfangen wurden.
Today was one of these days, where everything goes wrong. It could have become such a lovely day with the nice Bike-Track along the river Fulda towards Frankfurt. But after 50km a bollard in the middle of the track (fotos) brought our motivation to ground zero. I could move my bike to the right, but the trailer couldn't move that fast. So it was first me and then the trailer who made a rollover. In first place: I'm according to the circumstances fine, except the bad ache in all of my body, but we're happy to can continue the trip at least.
Special thanks to Thomas wo didn't gave up searching a bike-shop to get a new wheel for the trailer, the old one couldnt be used, as you can see in the pics. After 3 hours of break, we finally continued our trip and reached Frankfurt late in the night, but Isabell and Martina already waited for us with a lovely prepared dinner.
