Interruption - Rain and tecnical problems

Nach 2 Tagen in Thüringen sollte es heute nun endlich losgehen. Doch nachdem wir in den letzten beiden Tagen die Räder weitestgehend fit bekommen haben, machte uns heute das Wetter einen Strich durch die Rechnung. Gewitter und peitschender Regen ließen die Chancen für einen pünktlichen Start gen Null sinken. So haben wir beschlossen, die verlorene Zeit in den kommenden Tagen aufzuholen. Gespannt sind wir, wie wir mit dem fast 60kg schweren Anhänger die Berge bewältigen können. Dank gilt nochmals meiner Familie für die Verpflegung und Herrn Käbisch (siehe Fotos) für die Hilfe mit den Rädern und dem Verleih des Equipments.

After 2 days in Thuringia we wanted to start this morning, but due to the necessity of repairing our bikes and severe weather conditions with heavy rain and thunderstorms we not only lost some time but it also made it impossible to leave punctual. So we decided to try to catch up the lost time in the next few days from tomorrow on.
We’re exited to see, how we can handle the new situation with the trailer, which weights almost 60kg. In the mountains, this can become a little problem, but we’ll see. Thanks again to my family for the hospitality and to Mr. Käbisch (Foto), who helped us with technical problems and lend us a lot of stuff for the trip.
