Die längste Etappe der Tour - The longest Stage of the Tour
Liebe Freunde, es geht dem Ende entgegen. Madrid rückt näher und fast könnte man meinen, am Horizont bereits die ersten, spärlich von der flimmernden Sommerhitze zerflückten Umrisse der Madrider Skyline zu erkennen. Doch noch ist es nicht ganz so weit... Zunächst standen heute nochmals harte 150Km auf dem Programm: ja, wir haben uns das schwerste wirklich bis zum Schluss aufgehoben. Zum Glück haben wir es heute tatsächlich geschafft, uns rechtzeitig aus unserem geliebten Zelt zu erheben und die bevorstehende Tortur in Angriff zu nehmen. Es rollte sich gut und so waren wir fast im nu in Cabanillas del Campo, wo wir mit Silvia eine tolle, letzte Couchsurfing-Gastgeberin fanden.
Dear friends, it's nearly done. Madrid is closed and You just even feel, as if You could already see some parts of the Madrid Skyline between the glimmering sunheat on the asphalt. But we are not that far down the road yet. In first instance it was our goal to finish the todays program of about 150km, Yes, we waited with the longest stage until nearly the end. But luckily we made it to get out of our tent early, so we also had a more or less "cool" start and during midday, we could rest a bit longer. So we reached Cabanillas del Campo around 8pm and spend a nice night with Silvia, our last Couchsurf host in the trip.
